... how a leap of faith turned into a love affair with the land.
After a year of adventure in New Zealand, we found ourselves drawn to this hidden gem in the Blackwood Valley and thought, wine not? With no background in winemaking—just a passion for good wine and living close to nature—we dove headfirst into vineyard life.
We handpick every grape and let the wine speak for itself, using minimal intervention and sustainable practices. Even our cellar, built from locally sourced materials, reflects our commitment to working with the land, not against it.
The first thing we saw when we arrived was a Red-Tailed Black Cockatoo, now the heart of our logo and a reminder to honour this place we call home. Every bottle we craft carries that same spirit - wild, honest, and deeply connected to Bridgetown.
